Hey, there seems to be an issue with the Trial Version. Every 2 seconds for 2 frames it reverts to its original spot… and then returns to the simulation. If I create keyframes and then delete the effected keyframes from the simulation I can fix it… but it’s annoying and under complex animation, information can be lost. other than that I’m very impressed so far.
Hi Toby. Thank you for trying it. The missing frames is actually a limitation in the trial version. In the licensed version it would simulate just fine.
Hello dear Jakob. Thanks for the nice plugin. It’s very fast. Love it. In future request, maybe you can add soft bodies? Thanks Richard
Hi Richard
Thank you. I am happy you like it. Soft bodies are on the list, but it take a good while as that is probably one of the most difficult things to do.
I am planing a late summer/fall update which will bring more advanced features, but I don’t think soft bodies will make it in that update.

Also we could have external forces like wind, or explosions / implosion form a source point.
We could! Thank you for the input. It is already on the list, but I never promise anything before I actually have it working.
Jakob! Great plugin… LOVE it!!
I’m currently on the trial version and have just purchased a license, but I’m at a loss as to where to enter it.
Thought other’s might have this same issue so I’m posting it here.
Hi Benjamin.
Thank you for you purchase, I’m happy you like it! To enter the key you need to open the fly out menu / panel menu on the plugin window. Then select “Unlock License”.
Sure, this might be good info for others. Generally though, I prefer support through this email: support@crunchycreatives.com it helps me to keep track and make sure I don’t miss any messages. 🙂
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Hi Jakob
Great plugin so natural to use so well integrated and intuitive. can you create the effect of attraction or repulsion with this plug in like magnetic or point gravity things moving towards something if not is there a way to fake it?
Thanks
Marcus
Hey Marcus
Thanks. I’m working on forces for the next upgrade. But it will be several month before it’s done.
Actually I just did a small fake magnetic example the other day using distance joints. It’s not the same thing as having forces, but good enough for some things. Send an email to support@crunchycreatives.com and I’ll send it to you.

Hi Also
Can you animate items and have them effect the simulation e.g. scaling and object to push things out the way?
Thanks
M
You can animate the layers position and rotation but not scale. Often you can find a workaround by having invisible layers push things around, but that depends on the situation of course.

Is there any way to stop the distance joint from stretching?
Hi Steve
Not completely. You can adjust frequency and damping to minimize it strongly. Try damping of 1 and a frequency of 10. For more support please write an email to support@crunchycreatives.com
But you could also use a Revolve Joint instead. Rotating with no stretching is what it does.
Last, if you have many layers joint together you may need to set Accuracy on the World Control layer to a higher value.
